Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has described Chelsea as a "really exciting team" ahead of facing the Blues at Stamford Bridge this weekend.
The Premier League leaders travel to west London looking to continue their 100 per cent record in the top flight this season, having won their first five matches of the new campaign to sit top of the table, five points clear of Manchester City in second.
But ahead of the game against the Blues, Klopp has warned his players about the tough game he expects from Chelsea , who are still searching for their first home win of the season, after two draws in the Premier League and a 1-0 defeat against Valencia in the Champions League in midweek.
"It's not my job to talk about other managers but what I can say is they play exciting football," Klopp said at his pre-match press conference.
"I have to look back at their Champions League game. They have played different systems and that is interesting. A really exciting football team. Young and really good. It's no surprise."
Meanwhile, Klopp has praised his opposite number Frank Lampard, who took over as the Blues head coach in the summer, after just one season in management in the Championship with Derby County.
But Klopp has hailed what he has done in his short time in management, after guiding the Rams to the Championship play-off final, where they lost out against Aston Villa, before a mixed start to his time at Chelsea.
"Lampard did an outstanding job at Derby, so I am not surprised by him at Chelsea," said Klopp.
"But it is a difficult league. I can see some people are not happy with some results but that is not because of him. He is a really good manager."
