Chelsea fans will love what Jamie Redknapp has said about Frank Lampard and his Chelsea team

Sky Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp has revealed how impressed he is with the job that Frank Lampard is doing at Chelsea and the football that he has got his team playing.

The Blues moved up to third in the Premier League table with a 2-1 win over the bottom of the table Hornets, although they endured an uncomfortable last 10 minutes of the match after a penalty was awarded by VAR.

Speaking on Sky Sports following the game, Redknapp was full of praise for the football that Cheslea's youngsters played.

"Some of the football they played today, Chelsea, and the job that Frank is doing there, and the energy that they play with, is a joy to watch, it really is," he said.

“The young players are bedding in so well… Tammy Abraham and the other young players that Frank has introduced into this team."

The win was Chelsea's fifth in a row in the Premier League and have received wide spread praise for their use of young players.

Lampard also praised the football that his players played following the match, but did claim that he team could have been more clinical.

"We dominated the game, played some great football for big periods of it, created some good chances and credit to Ben Foster because he made some great saves," he said.

"But we feel there’s at least three or four goals in that game which does put it to bed in the last 10 minutes."
