Eden Hazard flirted with a transfer to Real Madrid for some time before eventually making the move to the Bernabeu.
The Belgian playmaker spent seven successful years at Stamford Bridge, winning the Premier League twice, the FA Cup, League Cup and the Europa League twice as well as a host of individual accolades.
But he always wanted that move to Real Madrid and he got his wish in the summer, moving on from Stamford Bridge for a fee in the region of £89million.
He said: "It was a dream to get here. Ever since I started playing in my garden as a kid, they were the club I supported. [Zinedine] Zidane was my idol. When I watched him on television he was magic.
"The stadium, when I saw it on television, was magical. And the white jersey, impeccable. For me it was exceptional.
But things have not quite gone to plan for him so far in the Spanish capital.
Real are second in the La Liga table, only behind Barcelona on goal difference, but from a personal point of view, Hazard could be doing better.
He has only played eight of the club's 15 league games, scoring just one goal.
And while that is a surprise, given he notched 85 goals in 245 Premier League appearances for Chelsea, averaging a goal every 2.88 games, compared to a goal every eight games currently for Madrid, it is the assist stakes that will be particularly worrying for the 28-year-old.
Hazard produced 54 Premier League assists, which amounted to an assist every 4.5 games in England. For Madrid so far this season he has just one assist to his name too.
And what will be all the more galling for Hazard and the Los Blancos supporters is the fact that Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen has more assists this season than Hazard!
