Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic has taken to social media to post an update amid his self-isolation due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Premier League and Champions League games have been postponed until at least April 4th because of the worldwide pandemic, with the Blues’ Champions League round of 16 second leg against Bayern Munich falling foul of the suspension.
The decision came a matter of hours after it was announced that Chelsea man Callum Hudson-Odoi had tested positive for the virus.
As a result his teammates, including Pulisic have gone into a period of self-isolation in order to try and reduce the spread of the disease further.
Chelsea’s training ground Cobham is also undergoing a deep clean ahead of the squad’s return.
Over the last few days, players around the Premier League and the world have been finding ways to entertain themselves during self-isolation.
Pulisic is the latest player to put an update on social media to keep fans up to date on what is going on.
Posting on Instagram the USA international wrote: “Stay home and stay safe my people! At least I have my ball.”
The post included a video of the American doing keepy-uppys in his garden, a sight that will delight Chelsea fans.
The 21-year-old has been out of action since January due to a tear in his abductor muscle, but he shows no sign of the injury in the video.
Chelsea are due to be back in action when they take on West Ham at the London Stadium on April 5th, although there is a distinct possibility that further games could be postponed.
