Chelsea fans will love Callum Hudson-Odoi's reaction to U19's reaching Uefa Youth League final

Callum Hudson-Odoi remains in high spirits despite his season being ended prematurely by injury.

The Chelsea wonderkid underwent an operation on a ruptured Achilles tendon this week after suffering the heartbreak in the Blues' 2-2 draw with Burnley at Stamford Bridge on Monday night.

Head coach Maurizio Sarri provided an update on the teenager at his pre-match press conference ahead of the Blues' trip to face Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.

"The operation of Callum went in the right way," he said. "I think that he will be back here in one or two days. He'll need time now, but Callum is a very strong young man. Very strong physically, and very strong mentally.

"I'm sure he'll be able to come back better than before."

Sarri was asked for a time frame on when Hudson-Odoi may return from the injury, with the Italian adding that in his opinion, it would be at least three months.

"How long? It depends, of course," he added. "For sure three months. Then we have to see the condition because you can be able to play, but we need a player at the top.

"And so it depends. The technical period is three months, no less."

As Hudson-Odoi recovers from the set-back he found time to watch the Blues u19's reach yet another Uefa Youth League final after defeating Barcelona on penalties.

The young Blues will face Porto in the final and will be looking to claim their third Youth League title.

Hudson-Odoi was cheering on the youngster and the winger filmed his reaction to goalkeeper Karlo Ziger's game winning penalty save and it's safe to say Blues fans will love the passion.
