Chelsea fans unveil extraordinary tribute to Eden Hazard against Liverpool

Fixtures between Chelsea and Liverpool always provide memorable moments, it's part of what makes the fixture so special.

But no one could have predicted what was on show before kick-off at Stamford Bridge.

As supporters were preparing for Sunday afternoon's fixture to get underway, fans behind the goal unveiled a banner in tribute to former star Eden Hazard.

The Belgian international left west London during the summer in favour of a big-money move to Real Madrid, but it seems that supporters have not forgotten him.

Hazard was certainly a fans' favourite at Stamford Bridge after being a key player during his seven years at the club.

The winger was instrumental in many of Chelsea's recent successes, most notably the Europa League victory in Baku last season in which Hazard played a key part.

As it turned out, it was Hazard's last action in a Chelsea shirt as he finalised his move to the Bernabeu.

But while Eden Hazard is no longer playing in west London, it seems that supporters still have a soft spot for the star.

Things might not have worked out so far in Madrid, but one thing's for certain and that's that he'll always have a place in the hearts of those at Stamford Bridge.
