Chelsea fans troll Arsenal with David Luiz chant after red card and penalty scored

Chelsea fans wasted absolutely no time trolling Arsenal after David Luiz was shown a straight red card during Tuesday night's clash at Stamford Bridge.

The former Blues centre-back, known for being calamitous at the best of times, was given his marching orders for a professional foul on Tammy Abraham.

The Chelsea striker had got the better of the Gunners back-four and looked certain to score after rounding Arsenal keeper Bernd Leno.

And in a last-ditch attempt at heroism, Luiz dived at Abraham.

In his head, the Brazilian saw himself winning back the ball and relieving the danger, but what transpired was nothing short of a disaster for both himself and Arsenal.

Referee Stuart Attwell was left with no choice but to show the defender a straight red for the foul and award Chelsea a penalty, which Jorginho dispatched.

Chelsea supporters, meanwhile, wasted no time rubbing salt in the wounds of the Gunners fans who had made the trip south-west for the fixture.

From the moment the former Blues star was sent off supporters could be heard singing: "He's one of our own, he's one of our own, David Luiz, he's one of our own."

Up until that moment the centre-back was being booed by his former fans, but it seems there'll all friends again now.
