Chelsea fans spotted what Pedro did for Callum Hudson-Odoi as he was subbed on against West Ham

Callum Hudson-Odoi got his second Premier League start for Chelsea in their 2-0 victory over West Ham and received a standing ovation when he was subbed in the 85th minute.

But it was the man who was replacing, Pedro, who made sure that all four stands of Stamford Bridge were applauding their young wonderkid when he came off the pitch.

Before coming on Pedro urged the fans to get on their feet and applaud the 18-year-old's performance in the victory after he showed everyone once again why there's such excitement around him.

Chelsea player ratings vs West Ham: Barkley makes impact, Hazard sublime, Higuain struggles

He may not have assisted or scored this evening, but he was a threat down the right and caused excitement around Stamford Bridge whenever he was in possession of the ball.

Hudson-Odoi picked up some good positions throughout the game and was unlucky not to get another assist to add to his name when he put the ball across the face of goal in the latter stages of the game, with Ross Barkley just unable to reach it.

That's now two games in a row that he's started for Maurizio Sarri and Pedro, a man who has been there and done it with both Chelsea and Barcelona, made sure the fans gave Hudson-Odoi the appreciation he deserved after yet another fine performance.

At just 18 there is so much more to come for the youngster and fans around the Bridge will be excited by what the youngster can achieve in the future at Chelsea.
