The Chelsea squad are in in need of a positive result heading into the FA Cup tie against Luton Town on Sunday afternoon.
Following the narrow win over 10-man Fulham last weekend, the Blues were back in action on Tuesday evening but fell to a 2-0 defeat against high-flying Leicester City.
Frank Lampard's side have dropped off the pace in the Premier League in the past few weeks, winning just two of their last eight games and losing five of those.
That result left them sitting eighth in the Premier League, level on points with Southampton in ninth, with the Saints having a game in hand.
The Blues are just five points off the top four places with half of the season to go, and they have a home cup tie against Luton this weekend to focus on.
A win on Sunday would set up a fifth round tie against either Barnsley or Norwich, providing some hope of another deep cup run following last season's cup final defeat against Arsenal.
Ahead of the game at Stamford Bridge, the likes of Billy Gilmour, Hakim Ziyech, Kepa Arrizabalaga and Timo Werner were put through their paces at Chelsea's training base in Cobham.
As spotted in a 'Chelsea Unseen' training session video uploaded to the club's YouTube page, Kurt Zouma looked to be on fire in front of goal, slamming a powerful finish past Willy Caballero in goal.
And some Chelsea fans believe they have spotted a rather unorthodox answer to Lampard's problems at Chelsea by giving the centre-back a run out in attack.
Let's Analyse kbfc: "It's time to play Lord Zouma as a striker."
Alex B: "Man, Zouma needs to be up front, I swear."
Zayn: "1:24 Zoumadinho."
In his pre-match press conference, Lampard pinpointed a lack of energy in the display against Leicester last time out as a problem for his side, and stated that they will need to work hard in training to rectify it.
"It was definitely slow and sluggish," he told reporters.
"One of the things that set us out as a team last year was our energy and in parts this energy to beat Leeds to beat Seville takes a lot of energy and it’s a part of the team that I feel proud of when I put out a team and it shows that. We did that last year and managed to get to fourth position.
"When I see it come off I have to call it out and we have to work in training to get it better because you cannot play if you don’t run first and I don’t want to explain exactly what the reasons are for each individual if they are not at it on one day.
"There can be a multitude of reasons for it. As a group we need to get back to the energy that we were when we were winning games."
