Chelsea fans send Eden Hazard transfer demand to Marina Granovskaia after new Real Madrid blow

Former Chelsea winger Eden Hazard has suffered yet another injury blow.

It was confirmed this week that the Belgian had suffered his 12th injury since joining Real Madrid, injuring his psoas, a muscle that runs down the inside of the pelvis.

And that's not all. Hazard, who has already missed more than 50 games through injury since his £103.5million move from Chelsea to Real Madrid in 2019, has now reportedly decided to undergo surgery on a long-standing ankle injury.

According to reports, Hazard wants to fix the long-standing issue for good and that could see him miss both the end of the season and Euro 2020.

It's reported the decision is not made just yet but Hazard is desperate to put an end to his nightmare run of injuries and that could see him sacrifice the Euros.

Hazard has had a torrid time at the Santiago Bernabeu and he is facing plenty of criticism for his lack of fitness since moving for big money less than two years ago.

The Belgian became a superstar at Chelsea across seven years, scoring 85 league goals in 245 Premier League appearances, but he has failed to match that form since.

And that's why, despite injuries, some Chelsea fans are calling for Hazard to return to Stamford Bridge, where he enjoyed the very best years of his career so far.

Here's what some fans said on Twitter.

In reality, Hazard's return to Chelsea is very unlikely given the price tag he commanded upon moving to the Spanish capital.

Unless Real Madrid are prepared to lose a huge amount of money, the Blues are not going to commit so much money to signing a player who has struggled so much with injury in the last 18 months.

Hazard will need to prove he can reach his previous heights without missing a large amount of games before Chelsea, or indeed any other club, would commit a large amount of money to sign him.
