Chelsea fans react as Jadon Sancho reportedly makes Man United decision

Jadon Sancho is one of the hottest young talents in Europe at the moment, and the Borussia Dortmund star will certainly have a price tag to match this summer.

The England international has a host of suitors, and Dortmund have indicated that they will be willing to sell the young star - but only for a big price.

It could reportedly take as much as €130million (£116.5million) to secure a deal with Dortmund this year, and then come the wages that a top signing like Sancho would be requesting.

According to the Irish Independent, Chelsea are huge fans of the attacker, and Sancho himself was a big fan of Frank Lampard having grown up in South London.

Chelsea: The season so far

Liverpool, meanwhile, would also welcome the winger into the squad, but owners FSG are not keen on spending vast sums on attackers when they already have the likes of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane dominating the league.

Sancho's former club Manchester City have a first option on re-signing the 20-year-old, but Sancho is said to have no intention of going back to the Etihad Stadium - though they will receive 15% of the final sell-on fee.

Which leaves Manchester United, who are said to be increasingly confident of a deal with Sancho having "unofficially confirmed" that he will be moving to Old Trafford.

That could be to do with an offer worth up to £400,000-per-week if his numbers keep on improving.

That eye-watering figure would represent a huge investment from United, and one Chelsea are apparently unlikely to match.

But some Chelsea fans are unconvinced they should even be considering a deal worth that much.

Sancho has an incredible record for Dortmund so far, scoring 31 goals and adding 42 assists in 90 games. He was the first teenager ever in the Bundesliga to score 25 goals.

United are said to see Sancho as their top choice for the summer transfer market, with Ed Woodward and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer agreeing on his potential impact at Old Trafford.

Whether Chelsea are willing to put together an offer to try and compete with their top four rivals is another matter.
