Chelsea fans predict big things after Thomas Tuchel names strong starting XI against Malmo

Chelsea will be looking to pick up their sixth win in seven matches in Sweden this evening when they travel to face Malmo in the Champions League.

Two weeks ago, Thomas Tuchel's side easily beat the Swedish champions 4-0 with Andreas Christensen, Kai Havertz and Jorginho all finding the back of the net., the latter converting two penalties.

Another win would take the Blues to the cusp of qualification for the last-16 and there may still be hopes of catching group leaders Juventus, who currently sit three points ahead.

The Italians face the daunting challenge of Zenit St. Petersburg in Turin having sneaked a 1-0 win past them in Russia two weeks earlier.

A win for Chelsea and a defeat or draw for Juve would set up a fascinating clash at Stamford Bridge on November 23, where the winners of the clash would most-likely earn a more favourable knock-out draw.

As is customary, Tuchel's team to face Malmo was released over an hour before kick-off and he has resisted the urge to make sweeping changes

Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Marcos Alonso and Cesar Azpilicueta are both brought into the starting XI, replacing N'Golo Kante, Ben Chilwell and Reece James from Saturday's win against Newcastle.

Thiago Silva starts in a back-three alongside Christensen and Antonio Rudiger while the front three remains unchanged with Callum Hudson-Odoi and Hakim Ziyech either side of Havertz.

Notably, Christian Pulisic also returns to the matchday squad.

With that being said, here is the best of the reaction to Tuchel's choices...

@DhilanPatel said: "Strong Lineup from MR SUPER TUCHEL. would love to see Chalobah and vale but i trust Tuchel. CHO LW again, lets build again, believe in you, hope we can get a goal or assist tonight."

@OgenduOyugi said: "Another 7 goal thriller on the way."

@Lukas_249 said: "Decent team, bit surprised Thiago is playing 2 games in 3 days."
