Chelsea fans noticed what Kepa Arrizabalaga did in Champions League win vs Lille

Chelsea recorded their first Champions League win under Frank Lampard with a 2-1 victory over Ligue 1 side Lille on Wednesday night.

Goals from Tammy Abraham and Willian cancelled out Victor Osimhen's first half equaliser to give the Blues a valuable three away points going into their match against last year's semi finalists Ajax later this month.

The win comes after a disappointing opening game defeat against Valencia and puts the Blues back in contention in group H going into the third matchweek.

While it was Abraham and Willian who rightly grabbed the headlines because of their goals, there was another player who impressed fans with his display.

goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga kept his first clean sheet of the season with a 2-0 win over Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League last weekend, and he followed it up with another impressive display in the Chelsea goal, making a couple of vital stops towards the end.

There was also something else that Kepa did that caught the attention of Blues fans.

While being put under pressure by the Lille attack, in a nice display of skill, the Blues goalkeeper had the confidence to control an awkward ball on his foot and knee before clearing the danger with his feet.

Goalkeepers sometimes get stick for trying things in their own penalty area that don't always come off, but when it does it's always a thing celebrated by fans.
