Chelsea will discover their Champions League fate next Wednesday.
Trailing 3-0 from the round of 16 first-leg tie against Bayern Munich, the Blues need a mini miracle at the Allianz Arena in a game which will be played behind closed doors amid coronavirus fears.
Three goals without reply would sent the tie into extra-time, while any victory by a three-goal margin would see Frank Lampard's side reach the quarter-final of the competition.
Failing that, the west London outfit will still be represented in the latter stages of the Champions League this season.
As spotted by supporters, two of the club's loan stars were affected by results on Tuesday night.
Ethan Ampadu didn't make the RB Leipzig matchday squad against Tottenham Hotspur, but without him the Bundesliga outfit were 3-0 winners on the night and 4-0 victors on aggregate.
Meanwhile in the night's other tie which was played behind closed doors at the Mestalla, Atalanta beat Valencia in a seven-goal thriller.
Mario Pasalic - who is reportedly set to join the Serie A outfit permanently this summer - played 83 minutes in Spain to help his loan club book a place among the final eight.
As a result, with Tottenham and Valencia suffering Champions League exits it means Chelsea could get knocked out next week but will have two players at two different clubs still in the tournament.
This possible feat was acknowledged by some Chelsea supporters on Twitter...
Whilst Pasalic looks poised to leave Chelsea permanently in the summer transfer window, Ampadu is confident he will be given a chance under head coach Frank Lampard next season.
"In our sport most people progress on talent and hard work — and that’s what I see at Chelsea,” Ampadu told The Evening Standard.
"Honestly, I pay no attention to the rumours [of big spending]. Sorry if that’s a boring answer but I'm just concentrating on my football and trying to get better every day.
"I followed Chelsea as a young fan until I joined the club as a player aged 16.
"From that point, I thought only about its future and that’s all I am concerned about. It’s my club, always has been and it will always be my home in football."
