Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel's decision to substitute Callum Hudson-Odoi against Southampton is arguably the biggest talking point from the 1-1 draw.
With the Blues trailing and Tammy Abraham struggling to make an impact, the striker was replaced by the 20-year-old at half-time as the German tactician made a slight tweak in search of an equaliser.
Despite playing a role in Mason Mount's goal - playing the pass to the midfielder who was brought down by Danny Ings in the penalty area - Hudson-Odoi found himself back on the Chelsea bench for the final 15 minutes.
It's not often that a substitute is substituted in the same half and Tuchel revealed the decision wasn't injury-related.
"In a game that it is hard to create chances you need to rely on counter-pressing to maybe force errors and get an easy chance," Tuchel said in his post-match press conference. "For that you need to be totally on and sharp.
"I didn't feel this from Callum today. He missed chances to counter-press, missed easy balls. I didn't think he felt the game.
"Maybe it was unfair but I didn't get the feeling today that I normally get from him.
"It was a hard decision but nothing that will stick for long. Tomorrow it will be forgotten and we will prepare for Atletico."
Whilst Hudson-Odoi has not publically commented on the incident, some eagle-eyed Chelsea supporters on Reddit have noticed his disappointed reaction after being substituted.

peanut-britle-latte said: "Callum seems like a player you need to keep on his toes. He got a run of games and his level seemed to dropped as he got too comfortable."
KickLikeDrogba said: "The CHO one was harsh. Tuchel doesn’t seem to be treating Werner similarly despite him spending 90 mins chasing his first touch."
