England are up and running at Euro 2020 as the whole nation dreams about the current crop emulating the heroes from 1966.
Raheem Sterling settled the scores beneath the famous arch at Wembley Stadium yesterday afternoon as England clocked-up a vital 1-0 victory over Croatia in Group D.
It's a opening-game verdict which puts them in pole position to qualify for the knock-out stages already.
Sterling proved to be the match-winner in terms of grabbing the decisive goal, but there were a number of superb performances for Gareth Southgate and the Three Lions to build on.
Kieran Trippier and Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips were among those to impress, while Mason Mount had a game Chelsea supporters are used to seeing from the Stamford Bridge graduate.
On another day, the 22-year-old might have even registered an eye-catching assist, too.
Indeed, after picking up the ball on the left-hand side, Mount produced a sublime clipped pass through to Sterling - who was unable to conjure up a finish to match as he instead opted to cross inside.
It was a moment which didn't go unnoticed by Chelsea fans, who singled out Mount for special praise.
