Chelsea fans make transfer demand after what Tammy Abraham did in training ahead of Liverpool

Some Chelsea fans have had a somewhat interesting response to the sight of Tammy Abraham in training ahead of the Premier League clash with Liverpool.

The 23-year-old is in contention to return to the Blues matchday squad for Thursday night's trip to Merseyside.

This is after Abraham was a surprise omission from Thomas Tuchel's squad for the goalless draw at home to Manchester United on Sunday - a decision that was not injury-related.

"No, he is not struggling. We have a strong squad with only Thiago Silva injured," Tuchel said following the game. "We had Olivier [Giroud] starting, we had Kai [Havertz] also on the bench who can play number nine.

"Things might be difficult for him at this stage, as they should be, but he has our support."

"It is my difficult decision that I have to take. This is what you sign up for if you are playing for Chelsea."

With that said, Abraham was spotted in a Chelsea training session at Cobham on Tuesday, in fact the club uploaded a couple of images of the England international to Twitter.

And the caption reads: "It always gets competitive when @TammyAbraham's involved!"

However, whilst some Blues supporters were happy to see the striker in training, others took the opportunity to make a few transfer demands - including a swap deal proposal for Borussia Dortmund's Erling Haaland.

@Jay_st_Patrik said: "We're still signing Haaland. We ain't falling for this."

@SimonnnCFC said: "Sell him and get Haaland."

@seanchelseafc29 said: "Get Haaland."
