Chelsea fans love what happened between Eden Hazard and Jorginho after Real Madrid draw

Chelsea's 1-1 draw with Real Madrid had an interesting sub-plot before, during, and after the game.

When the two teams were paired in the Champions League semi-final, eyes immediately turned to Eden Hazard and the prospect of him facing his former club for the first time since leaving in the summer of 2019.

Named on the bench for Tuesday's first-leg, the Belgian was introduced to proceedings just after the hour mark but couldn't inspire Los Blancos to victory - or even a shot on target.

Whilst Hazard did show flashes of quality, in truth it was just a relief to see him on a football pitch again after constant injury setbacks.

Even after the full-time whistle, there was still plenty of talk surrounding Hazard.

Firstly, he, Antonio Rudiger as well as another ex-Chelsea player in Thibaut Courtois were all spotted laughing with each other as they walked off the pitch.

And Blues fans on Reddit have noticed another Hazard reunion that took place after the game had finished.

This time with Jorginho as the pair almost recreated an image following the Europa League final win over Arsenal in May 2019 - the game that marked Hazard's final game for the west London outfit.

It's safe to say these Chelsea fans loved seeing the pair embrace.

King Kai said: "I've never seen Eden so happy in a long time. That genuine smile has been missing ever since he signed for Madrid

"Maybe it's just me. But his heart is still here, his passion was always to play for the big club, but he's left a part of his soul back in London."

hunhan12 said: "So touching."

Merejo said: "I miss him."

OhShuxTarzan said: "Got a new wallpaper, thanks."

With that said, friendships will be placed on hold for 90 minutes next week as Hazard has warned his former club that he's ready to end their Champions League dreams.

“It’s always good to play against friends," he told BT Sport. "I have a couple of friends over there.

"Now I’m a Real Madrid player, I just want to win - it doesn’t matter if it’s Chelsea against us or another team, I just want to win. But yeah, it’s always good to see some good faces."
