Chelsea fans have picked Mateo Kovacic as the pick of the Blues' players in the weekend's 2-1 win over Watford.
The midfielder made his move from Real Madrid permanent in the summer after spending last season on loan at Stamford Bridge. He has played a part in all but one of Chelsea's games in all competitions this season, playing the full 90 minutes of the victory over Watford.
Kovacic is forming an impressive partnership in the middle of the pitch with Jorginho, with the former beating his counterpart to the top spot when the fans were asked to give their rating on the players performance . Kovacic's performance was rated at a 9.0.
Both players struggled to make a lot of impact at Chelsea in their first season at the club, but Jorginho's score of 8.7 shows just how much the duo have pushed on under head coach Frank Lampard.
Only two of the starting 11 against the Hornets were rated at below a score of 7, with club captain Cesar Azpilicueta rated as the least impressive of the starting players, with an average score of 6.3.
There has been calls for youngster Reece James to come in in the right back position with the 19-year-old coming on as a late substitute for the last three Premier League games.
