Chelsea fans have noticed what N'Golo Kante has done since returning from injury

Chelsea's form since the November international break has not been good enough.

Prior to the final break of 2019, the Blues were being touted as potential Premier League title challengers alongside Liverpool and Manchester City.

In fact, following the west London outfit's 2-0 win over Crystal Palace, former winger Joe Cole made a massive claim.

"I think they're quietly chipping away at it," Cole told BT Sport after the full-time whistle at Stamford Bridge.

"Frank won't thank us for this, I think he'd like to be even more quiet about it. Going into these two weeks now, he'll really take stock, reflect on how well Chelsea have started and they're in amongst it.

"I don't think the gaffer will thank me for this because you like to be the quiet ones coming from the outside in the title race. What I'm saying is you can't find too many faults in this Chelsea team."

Fast forward six weeks and Chelsea have suffered defeat in six of their last seven Premier League outings.

The Boxing Day loss at home to Southampton came hot on the heels of a brilliant result away at Totteham Hotspur when it seemed like the side had turned a corner under Frank Lampard.

Interestingly, the Blues head coach has put his side's poor results down to inexperience as well as failing to break down packed defences.

But is the reason for Chelsea's slump down to a decision Lampard has made?

Well, @Arrizabaelaga on Twitter has pointed out that the Blues' dip in form has coincided with N'Golo Kante's return from injury which prompted Lampard to break up the Mateo Kovacic-Jorginho midfield partnership.

In the 10 games since the Frenchman has been back in the side, Chelsea have won just four times.

Coincidence or does this Chelsea fan make a good point?

This post did garner a reaction from other Blues supporters. Take a look at what's been said below...
