Chelsea fans have spotted a bizarre appearance on their club's megastore website today.
The Blues released their new Nike home shirt for the 2021/22 season this morning ahead of its debut at Saturday evening's FA Cup final against Leicester City.
And fans are already able to pre-order the new kit, which is a two-tone blue with a yellow trim, and many flocked to the site to get their order in nice and early.
But upon their visit to the official website, some fans noticed a strange occurrence or two, especially when it came to the 'shopping by player' option.
The option allows fans to take a shortcut when looking for shirts with a certain name and number on the back, and among the list of men's team and women's team names were a couple of newcomers.
Lauren James, sister of Reece, appeared on the women's list having been linked with a move from Manchester United.
And given the plausibility of that particular transfer, fans' eyebrows were especially raised when Manchester City's Benjamin Mendy appears on the list of men's names.
The option was later removed from one of the menus, but at time of writing, it remains on the 'shop by player' dropdown menu, sparking reactions from fans.
In truth, Mendy is unlikely to sign for Chelsea given the Blues have a strong left-back class between Ben Chilwell, Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmieri.
But the fact it is most likely human error did not stop fans from talking. Here's what some have had to say on Twitter.
