Chelsea and Frank Lampard have suffered yet another injury scare ahead of this weekend's Premier League encounter against Newcastle United.
Following news of N'Golo Kante withdrawing from the France team to face Iceland on Friday, 24 hours later Andreas Christensen limped out of Denmark's 1-0 win over Switzerland.
Mateo Kovacic made it a trio of injury worries on Sunday night whilst on international duty for Croatia.
Kovacic had to be replaced by Barcelona's Ivan Rakitic and the extent of the injury is not yet known.
With that said, the Blues will now be hoping for some good news regarding the 25-year-old, who has made 11 appearances across all competitions so far this season.
The midfielder was substituted during Croatia's 1-1 draw against Wales after picking up a knock in the build-up to Gareth Bale's equaliser at the end of the first half.
And upon closer inspection of the incident, Chelsea fans have spotted who caused Kovacic's injury.
None other than Tottenham Hotspur left-back Ben Davies who appears to foul the Blues midfielder before slipping in Bale to level things up on the stroke of half-time.
