Chelsea fans have a brilliant song for Billy Gilmour - but wonderkid has noticed one big mistake

Chelsea supporters have had plenty to shout about when it comes to Billy Gilmour in recent months.

Amid a midfield crisis with N'Golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic injured as well as Jorginho being suspended, the Scotland international has given head coach Frank Lampard something to think about when the Premier League resumes.

Not only did Gilmour turn in back-to-back man-of-the-match performances against Liverpool and Everton, but he earned big praise from Manchester United legend Roy Keane.

Chelsea 4-0 Everton: Frank Lampard reacts to victory

"From his performance the other night, I thought he was fantastic," Keane told  Sky Sports ahead of Gilmour's full Premier League debut against Everton last weekend.

"I was sitting at home having a cup of tea and a bit of chocolate with the TV on in front of me without the volume on, and as the game started, I literally got out of my seat, which I very rarely do, and I thought 'Who is this kid in midfield?'

"There are certain traits you want from a midfielder; obviously they have got to be quality on the ball, have football intelligence, have composure... he had everything.

"It was one of the best performances I have seen in a long, long time.

"But the downside for the kid now is that he has got to back it up. He started so well.

"But Frank [Lampard] has made the point there [in his pre-match interview] that he has got to keep that up now. It is a different type of test for him today to back that up."

And it's been during recent games at Stamford Bridge where Chelsea fans have been singing Gilmour's brilliant song.

However, the teenager has spotted one crucial mistake with the lyrics.

The lyrics are "You know I've never seen a player like Billy Gilmour,

'He's Scottish Iniesta and he's five foot four'

To which Gilmour immediately responds by revealing his actual height.

"I'm five foot seven," he told the BBC’s MOTDx programme. "Come on! I'm still not having it, I'm not five foot four."
