Chelsea fans could scarcely be happier with Callum Hudson-Odoi's return from an Achilles injury.
The 18-year-old looked set to leave Stamford Bridge at one point, with Bayern Munich having multiple bids rejected for the youngster in the January transfer window, and were expected to come back in for the winger in the summer.
However, Hudson-Odoi suffered an ankle injury in April that kept him out for nearly five months. And with just over a year left on his contract, no suitors came calling in the summer transfer window.
Since then, the youngster has signed a new five-year deal in west London and has made a huge impact since his return to action.
Hudson-Odoi has made eight appearances this season in all competitions for club and country, and has had a stunning record.
In every game competitive game so far this season, Hudson-Odoi has either scored or created a goal.
He began with an assist in his first game back for Chelsea Under-23s against Brighton at Stamford Bridge, and stepped it up with a goal at St. Mary's against the Southampton Under-23s.
Then came his return to the Chelsea first team against Grimsby Town in the Carabao Cup as a substitute, and he found the back of the net again.
He has followed that up with assists against Lile in the Champions League and Southampton and Newcastle in the Premier League, with two goals for England Under-21s against Austria.
The only match he has not scored or assisted in was the England Under-21 friendly against Slovenia, in which he was substituted at half-time.
And the Chelsea fans are certainly getting excited about the attacker.
