Here are your Chelsea evening headlines for Monday 5 October
Fulham swoop for Ruben Loftus-Cheek
Fulham will make a deadline day move to sign Ruben Loftus-Cheek from Chelsea.
The midfielder has dropped down the pecking order after a plethora of midfielders arrived at Stamford Bridge this summer. West Ham, Newcastle and Aston Villa have been linked with a move for Loftus-Cheek this summer, but Fulham’s interest was first reported by the Daily Mail.
And Lampard appears to have left the door open for the midfielder to go in search of game times with a loan move.
"With every player in the squad, with the situation of a loan, you have to consider what's best for the player, what's best for the club first and foremost. And then see how it stacks up," Lampard said last week.

Chelsea learn from past mistakes
Chelsea have learned from past mistakes and are unlikely to let Jorginho leave to join Arsenal on deadline day.
The Blues do not want to help strengthen a Premier League rival, especially after letting Willian go to the Gunners for free this summer, 12 months after David Luiz left for the Emirates.
And while Jorginho fell out of favour last season, he has returned this year to score three penalties in just four matches.
Arsenal have turned their attentions to Atletico Madrid’s Thomas Partey as they eek to strengthen on deadline day.
Juventus talks over Emerson collapse
Juventus’ attempts to sign Chelsea left-back Emerson Palmieri have collapsed ahead of deadline day, according to goal.com
The Brazilian has dropped down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge following the arrival of Ben Chilwell.
Juventus had wanted to complete a loan proposal with an option to buy, but Chelsea are not satirised with these terms.
Emerson had also been sought by Inter Milan this summer. Juventus had moved ahead of them in the race to sign the left-back, but a return to Italy for the player now looks unlikely.
