Inter plot January loan move for Giroud
Inter Milan are once again keen on signing Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud, according to reports.
The Italian side tried to secure a deal for Giroud earlier this year, but the Frenchman remained at Stamford Bridge.
However, he is once again concerned by his lack of first-team opportunities and is considering his future at the club.
That has seen Inter return to the table, according to Tuttosport, and they could make a six-month loan offer for the France international with an option to buy included.
The report adds former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte sees Giroud as the ideal back-up option to Romelu Lukaku, but adds that Napoli’s Arkadiusz Milik is also on the club’s radar.
The pair worked together when Conte was at Stamford Bridge and it would seem hs is now keen to reunite in Serie A.
Alaba could land dream shirt number at Chelsea
The January transfer window is fast approaching and Chelsea have once again been linked with a number of potential additions.
The Blues enjoyed a busy summer, splashing out more than £200 million on new players, yet they don't appear to be done and football.london has looked at the shirt number options for one of their biggest targets: David Alaba.
Alaba continues to be linked to the club as uncertainty surrounding his future at Bayern Munich remains.
The Austrian international is in the final year of his current contract with the Bundesliga champions and it is believed he is considering his future at the club after the offer of a new deal was pulled.
