Here are the Chelsea evening headlines on Wednesday, July 1.

Interest in Ike Ugbo

Chelsea striker Ike Ugbo is a target for a host of clubs, including London rivals West Ham United, according to TEAMtalk.

Ugbo has progressed through the Blues’ academy system but is yet to feature for the senior side.

According to the report, Chelsea are willing to let the 21-year-old leave the club on loan, with West Ham, Watford, Crystal Palace, West Bromwich Albion, Derby County and Nottingham Forest all interested.

New Blues kit revealed

Chelsea have officially released their brand-new kit for the 2020/21 season, despite this season not being finished yet.

The new shirt has new sponsors - 3 Mobile - who have replaced Yokohama Tyres on the kit. Frank Lampard’s side will be wearing the traditional blue shirt, with blue shorts, and white socks, but the shade of blue on the shirt being a slightly darker colour than this season’s.

Chelsea have confirmed the new kit will be worn for the first time against West Ham this evening, so supporters will be able to see it for the first time on their favourite players.

The big-money move that is great news for Chelsea

Manchester City selling Leroy Sane to Bayern Munich could be great news for Chelsea in their pursuit of Kai Havertz this summer.

It was confirmed on Tuesday that Bayern had agreed a deal with City to sign Sane for a fee that could rise to £55m.

The Blues are reportedly interested in Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen, and it looked like Bayern would rival Lampard’s side for his signature.

However, the Bundesliga champions could be tempted to pull out of any move for the German after adding Sane to their ranks.
