Havertz confirmed
Chelsea have confirmed the signing of Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen for €80million (£72million), potentially rising to €100million (£90million) with performance-related add-ons.
The Germany international, described as a generational talent, has signed a five-year deal at Stamford Bridge and will be one of the squad's highest earners.
Havertz, 21, had asked to leave Leverkusen at the end of last season after Peter Bosz's side failed to qualify for the Champions League.
Personal terms between Chelsea and the attacker had long been agreed.

Chelsea targeting Man United goalkeeper
Chelsea could make a move for Manchester United’s Sergio Romero, who might be deemed surplus to requirements at Old Trafford.
The Blues are searching for a new goalkeeper having been unconvinced by the performances of Kepa Arrizabalaga, signed for £71m two years ago.
Romero may be available following Dean Henderson’s return to United after his loan at Sheffield United.
The latter is expected to compete with David De Gea for a first-team place under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
And that could mean there is no place in the squad for Romero, who has been a dependable backup for the past five years.
United's executive vice-chairman Woodward is reportedly open to offers for the 33-year-old Argentine.
