Here are your Chelsea evening headlines for Thursday, May 28.
Chelsea’s advantage over Arsenal in full back chase
Chelsea have been given a boost in their pursuit of Nicolas Tagliafico after confirmation the player will be leaving Ajax.
The Argentine left back joined the Amsterdam club in 2018, has been linked with the Blues as well as London rivals Arsenal.
Where Chelsea may have the upper hand over the Gunners is their relationship with the Dutch giants.
The two clubs have already done business this year with Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia successfully negotiating a deal for Hakim Ziyech who arrives at Stamford Bridge in the summer.
Ajax and Chelsea have also done deals in recent years involving Bertrand Traore and Juan Castillo and will hope to continue that special relationship going forward.
Blues fans mock Arsenal and Luiz over contract dispute
With news of David Luiz’ expected departure from Arsenal after just one season, Chelsea fans have wasted little time sticking the boot in.
Luiz was sold to the Gunners on the eve of the current Premier League campaign despite agreeing a new 2-year deal just months earlier.
The Blues received £8 million for the 33-year-old who signed a one-year deal with the option of a second in north London.

With that option yet to be activated, the Brazilian is set to leave the Emirates much to the amusement of Chelsea fans who have taken to social media to hail the transfer ‘masterstroke’ by director Marina Granovskaia.
Out of favour Chelsea man fears being ‘priced out’ of move
Unsettled Blues keeper Kepa Arrizabalaga is at risk of being priced out of a move away from Stamford Bridge.
A string of unconvincing displays saw the Spanish stopper temporarily dropped from the Chelsea starting line-up in February, with rumours that the club are eyeing up a replacement.
Kepa who joined the club for £70 million in 2018, is concerned he won't be able to secure a move away according to reports in the Sun.
Valencia are said to keen on a loan deal to take the player back to La Liga, while the Blues have been linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund keeper Roman Burki to replace him.
