Billy Gilmour decision
Billy Gilmour is set to leave Chelsea on loan before the transfer window closes tomorrow, football.london understands.
The Scotland international was not included in the match-day squad for today's game with Burnley and was also omitted from the midweek draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Gilmour is understood to want to play regular first-team football during the remainder of the campaign as he attempts to force his way into the senior Scotland side for this summer's European Championships.
Werner misfires again
Chelsea secured their first win of the Thomas Tuchel era after dispatching Burnley 2-0 at Stamford Bridge but there are still areas of improvement.
Timo Werner was among the four changes made for Tuchel's second game in charge of the Blues but was unable to shine, as his struggles in English football continued.
Issuing his verdict in the post-match player ratings, our Chelsea man Sam Inkersole said: "Scuffed what looked like a very presentable chance on the half hour to leave Tuchel jumping up and down in frustration.
"Quiet after the break too, just isn’t happening for him at the moment."

Lampard's verdict on summer business
The aftermath of Frank Lampard's departure from Chelsea rumbles on and his cousin, Sky Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp, has lifted the lid on the former boss' feelings on the £200m spending spree witnessed in the summer.
“Anyone thinking the manager is the one responsible for the big-money signings these days has the wrong idea of modern football, tThat’s not how it works anymore," he wrote for the Sun.
“Chelsea spent fortunes on new players and as manager you’re under pressure — not only to play them — but for them also to be an instant success. When they don’t, like the two Germans Timo Werner and Kai Havertz, then the buck stops with the boss.
“But I’m sure Frank isn’t the one behind all the signings Chelsea have made.
"I’d say the only one he was mad keen on getting was Ben Chilwell. That’s how crazy the game has become.”
