Chelsea drawn against Manchester United in Carabao Cup Fourth round

Chelsea have found out their opponents in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup, with a home game against Manchester United standing in the way of a place in the fifth round.

The Blues eased through against League Two side Grimsby Town with a 7-1 win. Goals from Ross Barkley, Pedro, Kurt Zouma, Reece James, Callum Hudson-Odoi and a brace from Mchy Batshuayi ensured that Frank Lampard's men would be included in the draw for the fourth round.

Manchester United had a more dramatic route to this stage of the competition as they had to rely on a penalty shootout after a 1-1 draw against League One side Rochdale at Old Trafford. The Red Devils' won 5-3 on spot kicks.

That draw has thrown up a mouthwatering tie for both fans and neutrals as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men visit Stamford Bridge, with the Blues looking to get revenge for the opening Premier League game.

Frank Lampard's first game in charge of Chelsea saw the team visit Old Trafford, but despite an encouraging performance his young team were on the end of a 4-0 scoreline.

The game against Manchester United in the League Cup will be played on the week commencing October 28th
