Chelsea full-back Emerson is not interested in talking about a move away from Stamford Bridge right now.
The 26-year-old has featured 70 times in all competitions for the Blues since arriving at the west London club from Roma in January 2018.
With the likes of Ben Chilwell and Marcos Alonso being preferred by Thomas Tuchel for his left-back position, it looks like a long way back for Emerson.
The Italy international has just over 12 months remaining on his deal in London and is being heavily linked with a move to his homeland - to Serie A champions Inter Milan.
There has been plenty of speculation over his future and it seems that the forgotten Blues man is beginning to get fed up with all of the talk.
“For many months we have been talking about the market, about my return to Italy. Now I don’t even want to think about it”, Emerson said, via Sport Witness.
“Really, I don’t care: I live in the present, play the European Championship and do everything to win it.”
According to Sky Sports Italia, there appears to be a complication with Inter's supposed interest in Emerson - and it comes from Chelsea's side.
The report claims the Blues are demanding £17.2million (€20m) for their full-back, a fee that the Milan outfit are refusing to pay at the moment.
Napoli have also been credited with an interest in Emerson in the past but reports have Inter as the front-runners as it stands. Inter have just appointed a new manager - Simone Inzaghi - which may yet change their stance on Emerson again moving forward.
