Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger has likened Willian to Eden Hazard and has insisted he will be sad if the Brazilian winger leaves this summer.
The Blues are yet to agree a contract extension with Willian, who can walk away for free at the end of their Champions League campaign this month.
Arsenal have reportedly offered the 31-year-old a three-year deal to entice him to the Emirates and whilst Frank Lampard is keen for Willian to stay, the club are yet to match that length of deal.
Having lost their previous number 10, Eden Hazard last summer, Rudiger has likened the two players and their impact on the Chelsea team, whilst underlining the impact he had in the dressing room when he first arrived from AS Roma.
"Since day one of coming to Chelsea, he and David Luiz got me into the team and helped me out in the first couple of months because it was not that easy," Rudiger said.
"He is a great guy and a really, really good footballer. He is calm and humble and it will be sad if I don’t see him again as a team-mate. He is not the type of player who talks that much.
"He does his thing on the pitch, just like Eden Hazard. By playing, he shows what he is about. He is a guy who dictates the game and not many players in the world have this type of quality.
"He is always training [hard] and practising free-kicks after. He is someone who always wants to improve."
