Chelsea could be in line for £48m transfer boost by selling these three players

Chelsea could potentially be in line for almost £50m this summer should they choose to cash in on three of their strikers in the transfer window.

A number of the Blues’ forward options have been linked with moves away from Stamford Bridge as Thomas Tuchel aims to refresh his stuttering forward line.

Amongst those contenders sits the likes of Tammy Abraham, Michy Batshuayi and Olivier Giroud.

The former has strongly been linked with a departure since the arrival of the German. He has fallen down the pecking order since and could seek pastures new in search of regular first-team football.

The 23-year-old is valued at £36m by transfermarkt with two years remaining on his current contract at Stamford Bridge.

A handful of clubs in the Premier League including Leicester City, West Ham United and Aston Villa amongst others are reportedly interested.

Meanwhile, another of the current striking options at the club could be set to wave goodbye as soon as this summer.

Olivier Giroud is apparently courting strong interest from AC Milan, with the Frenchman interested in a switch to the San Siro.

He is out of contract at the end of the current campaign so Chelsea may not be able to receive his £3.6m value but with his wages off the books, there might well be more funds free for new arrivals.

Elsewhere, Michy Batshuayi’s future looks sure to be away from Stamford Bridge.

The Belgian striker spent the 2020/21 campaign on-loan with Crystal Palace and football.london understands a top-half Premier League side have shown interest in the striker.

Chelsea are thought to be asking for £10m for him in the summer.
