Chelsea confirmed line-up vs Juventus as Hakim Ziyech and Kai Havertz start

Hakim Ziyech starts as Thomas Tuchel has made three changes to the Chelsea starting XI that faced Manchester City.

He is joined by the introductions of Kai Havertz and Thiago Silva to the side for the trip to Juventus.

The Blues boss was dealt a number of blows ahead of the match, as four players were ruled out ahead of the Champions League clash.

Tuchel noted in his press conference: "Christian, Reece and Mason are out due to injury. N'Golo, unfortunately, tested positive, and needs to have time and follow the government protocols.

"He was not in training today and of course was not with the group."

Timo Werner drops out of the side in addition to James and Kante as Tuchel returns to a 3-4-3 from the 3-5-2 he employed against the Premier League champions.

Marcos Alonso retains his place in the side despite calls from many fans for Ben Chilwell to start.

Chelsea XI: Mendy; Christensen, Silva, Rudiger; Azpilicueta, Jorginho, Kovacic, Alonso; Havertz, Lukaku, Ziyech.

Subs: Kepa, Bettinelli, Wetner, Loftus-Cheek, Chalobah, Saul, Barkley, Hudson-Odoi, Chilwell, Sarr.
