Chelsea confirm new contracts for three talented youngsters amid transfer ban

Three Chelsea youngsters have signed new deals with the club with their current contracts having run out in the summer.

Tariq Uwakwe, George McEachran and Juan Castillo have all put pen to paper to stay with the Blues for another three years.

The three youngsters have been a big part of the academy in recent seasons, while also working with the first team at times in traning.

McEachran was added to Chelsea's Europa League 'B' List for the Blues's final group stage match at MOL Vidi, while he was also called up for the final and took a place on the bench.

Uwakwe is another talented attacking midfielder, who can play either on the wings or who can play as the number ten as well.

Meanwhile, Castillo has often been used as a left wing-back for Chelsea's youth teams, but for the Netherlands young team has has played in a more attacking role.

All three players will be with the club until 2022.

Chelsea also confirmed that Todd Kane, Ruben Sammut, Marcin Bulka, Joseph Colley, Renedi Masampu, Josimar Quintero, Martell Taylor-Crossdale, Jared Thompson, Bradley Collins, Fanktay Dabo and Victorian Angban have all left.
