Number games
Chelsea have finally announced what shirt numbers Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner will wear next season.
The Morocco international was the first of five summer signings thus far as his €40m (£33.4m) move from Ajax - which could potentially increase to a maximum of €44m - was agreed shortly after the January transfer window closed.
He was then joined by Werner as the Blues won the race ahead of Liverpool and Manchester United by triggering the £47.5m release clause in his contract at RB Leipzig.
However, the pair have been training at Cobham without being allocated shirt numbers.
Werner reacts to first Chelsea goal
Timo Werner got off to the perfect start for Chelsea in their 1-1 pre-season friendly draw against Brighton & Hove Albion.
The 24-year-old took just four minutes to get his campaign underway with his opening goal for the Blues.
Hakim Ziyech put in a superb ball over the top of the Seagulls defence for Callum Hudson-Odoi, who messed up his header.
However, the ball fell kindly to Werner and he tapped home to get his goalscoring with the club going.
