Maurizio Sarri refused to shake hands with Pep Guardiola following Chelsea’s 6-0 hammering at Manchester City.

The Blues were taken apart at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday with Sergio Aguero hitting his 11th Premier League hat-trick with Raheem Sterling (x2) and Ilkay Gundogan on the score sheet.

As the final whistle went, Sarri headed straight down the tunnel, ignoring a slightly-bemused Pep Guardiola and his offer of a post-match handshake.

Chelsea have now conceded 10 times in their last two away games in the league without reply, shipping four at Bournemouth 11 days ago.

Conceding six today sees them drop to sixth in the Premier League table, behind Arsenal on goal difference.

Manchester United had already leapfrogged them into fourth place ahead of kick-off following their victory over Fulham on Sunday.

Chelsea are still to score a league goal away from Stamford Bridge in 2019.

Sarri's next game is the first leg of Chelsea's Europa League last 32 tie with Malmo at Stamford Bridge on Thursday.
