Bayern Munich have made it clear they will make another attempt to sign Callum Hudson-Odoi in the summer.
Hudson-Odoi handed in a transfer request during the January window after German giants Bayern lodged four bids for the youngster.
Chelsea have no intention of selling Hudson-Odoi in the summer, with Maurizio Sarri last month telling the 18-year-old winger to commit to the club, "his home".
Bayern’s sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic said: “He brings something special and the finesse we need for spectacular football.”
Hudson-Odoi is out of contract in June 2020.
Meanwhile, Chelsea’s assistant coach Gianfranco Zola has warned this month will make or break the Blues’ season.
Starting with the League game at Manchester City on Sunday, Chelsea will play six games in 18 days.
The Blues sit fourth in the table, two points above Manchester United, and will contest the League Cup Final against City at Wembley later this month.
Zola said: “We are going through a crucial period which is very, very important for our future.”
