Chelsea added another European trophy to their collection on Wednesday night.
A little over two months since Thomas Tuchel lifted the Champions League in Porto after a 1-0 win over Manchester City, the Blues were at it again in Belfast, beating Villarreal on penalties in the Super Cup.
But now attention fully switches to the Premier League, and mounting a serious title challenge alongside the likes of Man City, Manchester United and Liverpool.
While that may well be a close-run thing, what a large chunk of football fans think won't be a close-run thing is Chelsea finishing as the top dogs out of the London clubs yet again.
There were only two points in it last time out, as the Blues came in fourth place with 67 points, two places above West Ham United. Chelsea were five points ahead of Tottenham and six in front of Arsenal.
With a big-money move for Romelu Lukaku on the verge of completion, it is perhaps no surprise that Chelsea have the backing of 69% of football fans to finish as the Premier League’s best-placed London team this season, according to a survey by YouGov for Betfair to mark the start of the season.
However, only 6% of respondents think Tuchel’s side will win the Premier League, despite their drastic improvement under the German coach.
