Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham to be put on alert with Bayern Munich star set to leave

Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara is set to leave the German club this summer, which could put Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham on alert over his availability.

According to German outlet Bild, Thiago could leave the club with one year remaining on his contract, over disappointment of his failure to produce performances in big games.

The report claims that the Spanish midfielder remains a 'divisive figure' at the club and that Bayern will be open to letting him leave during the summer window.

Should that be the case, then it is likely the player won't be short of options, having played 100 times for Barcelona before making the move to the Bundesliga in 2013.

Premier League transfer round-up: Young set for Inter

The 28-year-old has gone onto make a further 217 appearances for Bayern in his six-and-a-half seasons at the club so far.

It is claimed that up to five high-profile names, including Thiago, could be leaving the Bundesliga club in the summer, with the futures of Philippe Coutinho, Ivan Perisic, Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka the others who could be shown the door.

Manchester United have previously been linked with a move for Thiago, but are likely to face competition for his signature should the player become available as expected.
