Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham handed top-four boost as Manchester United suffer big injury blow

There are just 14 days remaining in the Premier League season and the fight for a top-four finish remains wide open, as none of the competitors have managed to grab hold of the situation.

Tottenham Hotspur are in the strongest position despite losing 1-0 to West Ham United on Sunday, while Arsenal have work to do after a defeat at the hands of Leicester City saw the Gunners suffer three consecutive defeats in a row.

Victory for Chelsea against Manchester United would have put the Blues with one foot in the group stages of next season's Champions League, as they would be four points ahead of the Gunners, but a draw at Old Trafford means the gap has been extended to just two points.

United, three points behind Chelsea, look to be the least likely to secure a top-four spot and their hopes suffered a further blow during the second half of their draw with the Blues.

These Liverpool fans are saying the same thing about Brendan Rodgers as Leicester beat Arsenal

Eric Bailly was forced off through injury and could now miss United's remaining matches of the season, where Solskjaer's side lock horns with Huddersfield Town and Cardiff City.

That provides a boost to their rivals, as United's weak squad could now be exposed further - although the fact the Red Devils have too favourable matches to end their campaign may decrease the significance of the issue.

Tottenham know their top-four spot will be sealed with a victory against Bournemouth next weekend or a win against Everton on the final day, while Chelsea have two testing clashes with Watford and Leicester City to end their campaign.

Arsenal require the Blues to slip if they are to leapfrog them in the table, with Unai Emery's side finishing the season by hosting Brighton and travelling to face Burnley.
