Chelsea, Arsenal and Fulham youngsters listed among the top players born this century

The future is bright for English football fans if a list of the top young players born this century is anything to go by, with Chelsea, Arsenal and Fulham all represented.

Goal.com’s rundown of the 50 best teenage football players on the planet is sure to get you excited if you follow one of those top-tier London clubs.

England’s Jadon Sancho has landed the number one spot but there are also three more English players in the top ten. Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi, Manchester City’s Phil Foden and Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Morgan Gibbs-White make the top ten of the best players born this century.

Hudson-Odoi lands the third spot behind Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior, while Foden is named as the fourth best teenager. Gibbs-White rounds off the top ten after impressing for Wolves this season.

Gareth Southgate has a clear message for Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri about Callum Hudson-Odoi

Hudson-Odoi has not fully broken through at the Blues due to a lack of game-time but that has not stopped him landing a senior call-up to the England squad.

Other notable English players include the likes of Fulham teenager Ryan Sessegnon in 11th, and Manchester United starlet Mason Greenwood in 16th.

'Buzzing!' - Emile Smith Rowe's first words after joining RB Leipzig on loan from Arsenal

Arsenal attacking midfielder Emile Smith Rowe is also highly rated at 32nd on the list.

Chelsea's Welsh international midfielder Ethan Ampadu is also high up on the list in 14th.
