Chelsea and Frank Lampard have been handed a massive injury boost with just under two weeks until the Premier League season gets underway.
Influential midfielder N'Golo Kante is back in full training.
This news comes just days after Kante was actually sent back to England from Japan to continue his recovery as he's been struggling with the injury that almost ruled him out of last season's Europa League final.
Blues head coach Lampard had an update after the win over Barcelona.
"Yeah, he is okay," Lampard said. "It was a decision that I made because I felt that him being here, with the facilities and the moving, travel etc. that we have been doing, it probably wasn't the most beneficial for him.
"He went back, has had a few days at Cobham, working well, progressing, so hopefully by the time that we get back at the end of the week I will sit down with the doctor to hopefully know that he will be back with us very soon."
Lampard's hope seems to have come true.
The west London outfit uploaded an image on Twitter of the squad training at Cobham on Friday afternoon and upon closer look, Kante can be seen towards the back of the group.
It now remains to be seen if Kante will be involved against Reading in the latest pre-season friendly on Sunday afternoon.
This injury boost comes at a time when Chelsea's opponents on the opening weekend of the new Premier League season have suffered a fitness blow of their own.
The Red Devils beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 in Shanghai on Thursday afternoon and Eric Bailly was one of the 11 changes ahead of the second half.
However, just minutes later Bailly went down with an injury and, looking visibly upset, was stretchered off the pitch and back down into the United changing room.
Speaking after the game, United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer didn't sound too upbeat.
"It seems that he’s twisted his knee so we just have to do some scans and checks on him," he told MUTV. "At first sight, it doesn’t look great but let’s see how it goes."
Other Chelsea players in the treatment currently include Willian, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Reece James and Antonio Rudiger.
