Conor Gallagher has previously been tipped to have a big future at Chelsea but decided to make a loan switch to Crystal Palace this summer.
The 21-year-old, who has just under four years remaining on his contract with the Blues, joined Patrick Vieira 's side on loan at the end of last month in order to gain more Premier League experience.
Gallagher impressed on loan at West Bromwich Albion last season, but despite his best efforts, could not prevent the Baggies from being relegated back down to the Championship.
The Chelsea academy graduate made his debut for the Eagles in their goalless stalemate with Brentford on Saturday afternoon after being ineligible to face his parent club on the opening weekend of the season.
Now, Chelsea and Crystal Palace supporters have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts on how the young midfielder got on during his first outing in the Premier League for the south London club - and it's safe to say they are impressed.

Gallagher, speaking to the press after the draw at Selhurst Park, spoke about Crystal Palace supporters being allowed back into the stadium and how it impacted his new team.
He said: "The noise was crazy, incredible. It was a positive performance. There's a lot to work on and build on."
Speaking last season, his former West Brom manager Slaven Bilic likened Gallagher to Chelsea icon Frank Lampard.
Bilic, when asked about comparisons to Lampard, said: “It isn’t going to help the boy to have so much praise and I’m not a big fan of that but you can’t help but notice it.
“He ticks those boxes. He plays in the same position, he has everything, and it’s not a little bit of everything, it’s a lot of everything.
“The only thing that concerns me, but only in theory, is whether he’s going to be able to maintain this level of concentration and commitment when the praise starts to come to him, but he looks like he is.
“He’s going to need the help of his family and his coaches and his managers, team-mates and entourage but the boy has everything on a big scale. He’s going to be big.
“I wanted him, I knew him from last season, Charlton and Swansea and I did my homework through Frank Lampard and a number of other people.
“But despite that I am surprised by what I’ve seen.
“For a 20-year-old guy, I expected him to be full of energy, enthusiasm and motivation for the Premier League."
