Chelsea already have a £90m player who is more valuable than Kevin De Bruyne and Harry Kane

Chelsea will be looking to extend their unbeaten start to life under Thomas Tuchel on Saturday lunchtime when they travel to Elland Road to lock horns with Leeds United.

The Blues, who defeated the Whites 3-1 at Stamford Bridge back in December, extended their unbeaten start to the German's tenure to 11 matches on Monday evening, defeating Everton 2-0 at Stamford Bridge.

An own-goal from Ben Godfrey and a second half penalty from central-midfielder Jorginho sealed all three points for the Blues, meaning they cemented themselves in the top-four ahead of the business end of the season sparking into life.

Leeds v Chelsea: Premier League match preview

Whilst Chelsea have become a tough nut to crack under Tuchel, conceding just two goals in the first 11 games of his stewardship, to have beaten an Everton side, who also share similar aspirations of finishing in the top-four this season, with such ease was impressive.

But what was made all the more impressive was the way in which the Blues comfortably dispatched of the Toffees despite making five changes to the starting line-up that had beaten Liverpool just four days earlier.

Tuchel opted to make some big calls, taking the likes of Ben Chilwell and Mason Mount out of the starting line-up and bringing in Callum Hudson-Odoi and Kai Havertz, who most certainly took his opportunity to impress, amongst others.

Mount's omission from the starting line-up was a big surprise, especially after he scored the winner against Liverpool at Anfield with an excellently taken solo effort. However, he is expected to be restored to the starting line-up at Elland Road.

Since Tuchel took over at Stamford Bridge in late-January, Mount has already proven his worth and just how valuable he is to this squad. Despite his odd critic here and there, the truth is that Mount is one of the very best attacking-midfielders in the Premier League.

He has only scored three goals since Tuchel took charge but his all-round performances have been impressive, proving that he can compete with some of the very biggest names that the Premier League has to offer.

So much so, the England international, according to data provided by the CIES Football Observatory, now has a valuation of £93.6million, meaning he is one of the most valuable English footballers in the world.

Mount's near-£94million valuation puts him high up on the list, ahead of a series of big-name players, including former Arsenal man Serge Gnabry, Manchester United's Mason Greenwood and former Blues striker Romelu Lukaku, who is now on the books of Inter Milan.

As well as finding himself above those three on the list, Mount is also ahead of Manchester City midfield architect Kevin De Bruyne and Tottenham striker and England teammate Harry Kane.

According to the data provided, Kane is currently valued at £91.9m and De Bruyne is at £61.7million.

Whilst both Kane and De Bruyne are older than Mount, they are both, of course, two of the very best players in the world, not least in the Premier League.

Whilst it is hard to compare Mount with Kane because of their different positions, Mount and De Bruyne are both in their respective teams for the exact same reasons: to create goals and score them.

Thus, with that said, Mount has massive potential within his locker and could soon become one of the most valuable players in the world.

The latest CIES figures currently have Manchester United's Marcus Rashford at the top of the chart, valued at £142.2million, with Chelsea-linked Erling Haaland breathing down his neck in second spot, valued at £130.5million.
