Chelsea agree Tino Anjorin loan exit but Armando Broja and Levi Colwill decisions on hold

Chelsea midfielder Tino Anjorin is set for a second loan spell with Huddersfield Town.

The 20-year-old had a host of offers from Championship rivals and overseas club but opted for a return to the Terriers, were he made eight appearances during the second half of last season.

Anjorin will now undergo a medical before spending the 2022-23 season at the John Smith’s Stadium.

The attacking midfielder enjoyed a 45-minute run out for Chelsea in their recent pre-season friendly win over Club America in Las Vegas, but was soon cut from Thomas Tuchel's group and joined the Under-23s in their pre-season tournament in Salt Lake City.

Another 45-minute appearance against Real Monarchs followed, but he will now head back to Huddersfield ahead of the start of the new Championship season on July 29.

Chelsea are in talks to loan out several other players, including Harvey Vale and Dujon Sterling. Henry Lawrence will today undergo a medical before joining MK Dons for the season.

The likes of Billy Gilmour, Levi Colwill and Armando Broja are attracting interest from Premier League clubs. However, Tuchel has told both Colwill and Broja to hold off on deciding their futures.

Broja has had an offer of more than £30million from West Ham, while Colwill has plenty of Premier League admirers, most notably from Leicester City, Crystal Palace, Brighton and Southampton.
