Chelsea ace sends message to Jack Grealish amid Manchester United transfer links

Tammy Abraham has shone in the Premier League this season.

The striker has had to work hard to get his chance in the first team, being part of the Blues' Loan Army, spending time at Bristol City and Swansea City before last season's impressive spell with Aston Villa in the Championship, helping them to promotion to the Premier League.

Abraham scored 26 goals in 40 appearances for the Villains, leading to Frank Lampard giving him his opportunity to lead the line at Chelsea this year.

And he has not misplaced his manager's faith, scoring 15 goals to guide the Blues into the top four before the season was halted as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

During his time at Villa Park, Abraham struck up a good partnership with Villa skipper Jack Grealish, who is never far from the headlines.

Grealish almost move to Tottenham two seasons ago before Villa secured new investment and the deal was called off.

He has shone in the Premier League with his hometown club this season and is once again the subject of much transfer speculation, this time though it is Manchester United who are the frontrunners for his signature.

United are expected to test Villa's resolve with a bid this summer, with Villa facing relegation from the Premier League if the season does get back up and running.

But if Chelsea were to be interested, they may have an ace in the pack in Abraham in any conversations over a move.

In a Q&A on his Instagram page, Grealish was asked for his thoughts on Abraham and responded: "Unbelievable. Couldn't believe how good he was on the ball for how tall he is. Loved playing with him.

And Abraham sent a message back, saying: "Love you bro."

Could United have competition for his signature?
