The January transfer window is well underway and Premier League clubs are looking to make significant improvements to their respective squads.

Kante plots Chelsea exit
Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante is eyeing an exit from Stamford Bridge in the summer in order to seek a transfer to Real Madrid and a fresh challenge, according to The Sun.
Kante's rise over the past five years has been one of the biggest success stories in the Premier League.
However, while Kante is seeking a fresh challenge, Chelsea will demand in excess of £100m for his services, while Real Madrid are content with their current options.
Inter make Eriksen offer
Inter Milan have made a contract offer to Christian Eriksen’s agent and are awaiting a response, according to Sky Sports News.
The Serie A club hope to have a positive response to their offer before approaching Spurs for talks over a transfer this month.
According to the report, Inter wants to move for the player in January because they expect competition from the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Juventus due to him being available on a free transfer in the summer.
Stones’ City future in doubt
John Stones’ future at Manchester City is in doubt with the Premier League champions yet to start talks with the defender about a new deal.
The 25-year-old was expected to be offered fresh terms by City this season, with two years left on his current contract.
But according to The Mirror, negotiations have still not started between the England international and his club.
Lampard eyes Mertens swoop
Chelsea are interested in chasing the signature of Napoli forward Dries Mertens this month.
Frank Lampard is reportedly searching for a striker as Olivier Giroud is close to departing Stamford Bridge in a move to Inter Milan.
And according to Le10Sport, Mertens, who has scored nine goals and registered four assists for the Serie A side this season, is a target for the Blues.
Everton star wanted by Bayern
Bayern Munich are reportedly targeting Everton’s Academy starlet Anthony Gordon, according to The Athletic.
Gordon is one of the club’s rising stars but is yet to make his debut in the Premier League for the Blues.
The report also suggests that the Blues have received a number of enquiries for the 18-year-old.
