After a year in the Europa League, Chelsea are back in the Champions League and looking to go as far as they can in the prestigious competition.
The Blues finished third in the Premier League last season to guarantee their spot back among Europe's elite in the Champions League, before hammering Arsenal 4-1 in Baku to clinch the Europa League on top.
While Maurizio Sarri's side had a pretty comfortable run in the group stages of the Europa League, no doubt it is going to be a bit tougher this season.
Chelsea have secured a top seeding for the group stages, however the likes of Real Madrid and Atletico could well still be in their table when the draw is made.
It means, whoever is in charge of the side, will have to juggle their squad to make sure that they get the best out of all of their players.
The Blues will also be taking part in the UEFA Super Cup in Istanbul on August 14, the same city in which the Champions League final will be played in on May 30.
